About Me	After graduation l accepted a wrestling scholarship to college, quit school, joined the Marine Corps, meritoriously promoted from boot camp, and school, volunteered for duty in Vietnam. After Vietnam l had duty in Okinawa when l came home on emergency leave, wanted to go back but was unable to because of family matters. Went back to college when Mr Tooker saw me and offered me a full ride scholarship if l wrestled for him. I made it to the finals of the regional tournament where l lost in the championship. I was not able to attend the national tourney as only the champion was permitted. Bummer! I decided to get all of my “partying” out of me so for a year that’s all l did. In Jan. Of 1977 l attended the Colorado State Patrol Academy, after graduation l was stationed in Rifle, stood there 14 years where l became a motorcycle trooper and met my wife while on security duty in Pueblo during the State Fail. I transferred to Grand Junction in 1992, I was named Trooper of the year in 1994, l had been severely injured in an auto accident in Dec. of 1998, medically retired in Jan 1998.
