John was my next door neighbor when growing up until my family left Duluth in 1954. We attended kindergsrten to 3rd grade at Jackson Elementary school abd 4th & 5th grade at Nettleton.
We connected many years later when I returned to Duluth to visit family in the 80's and 90's.
He nicknamed me Spider because I was always climbing fences, walls and poles.
A great friend and will always hold a special place in my heart and memories.
