While in the Air Force, I was a Cryogenics Fluids Production Specialist (LOX Plant), Civil Engineering Refrigeration/Air conditioning Specialist, Fuels Technician (POL). I spent most of my career at overseas bases in both Europe and the Pacific. I was in Desert Shield/Desert Storm, Provide Comfort, Northern Watch, Southern Watch among others. After retiring from the military, I went into the Security career field as a Department of Defense employee. I also worked as a contractor with Lockheed Martin Flight Test at Holloman AFB NM. My last assignment was Wing IP at Incirlik AB Turkey (2014 - 2016). I'm retired now.

1SG Mark Myers started his military career in 1985, he went into the Army’s 81st Airborne buddy system with Curtis Knowles, also a Central Alum. His tour of duty started at Fort Bragg North Carolina, he’s toured places like; Korea, Germany, Massachusetts, Virginia and finally back to Fort Bragg, NC. He's had the opportunity to protect and serve in Dessert Storm, Dessert Shield, and Afghanistan and Iraqi Freedom Wars. Marks official retirement date is approaching this October 09, which he has already started his out processing (YEAH). For his outstanding accomplishments in the Afghan war, Mark was awarded the bronze star. Mark currently resides in Fayetteville, NC and is married with two handsome boys and a deacon at his church. (go Mark, from Lil sis)
