1SG Mark Myers started his military career in 1985, he went into the Army’s 81st Airborne buddy system with Curtis Knowles, also a Central Alum. His tour of duty started at Fort Bragg North Carolina, he’s toured places like; Korea, Germany, Massachusetts, Virginia and finally back to Fort Bragg, NC. He's had the opportunity to protect and serve in Dessert Storm, Dessert Shield, and Afghanistan and Iraqi Freedom Wars. Marks official retirement date is approaching this October 09, which he has already started his out processing (YEAH). For his outstanding accomplishments in the Afghan war, Mark was awarded the bronze star. Mark currently resides in Fayetteville, NC and is married with two handsome boys and a deacon at his church.
