Kevin Owen Wayne Meyer
Class of 1977
He has done quite well over the years and credits Central High school teachers and especially the coaches as a few of his great examples. Am enclosing ones of his teams pictures.
Over the years he has taken on kids that are drop outs, helped them with their grades and put them into wrestling naturally, and many have gone on the colleges and 3 to the Navy academy. He's worked 17 years full time at the Broadmoore Hotel, as one of it's managers and then heads to Mitchell High School. He also has been head coach of middle schools and his son Kevin is now the head coach with him at a middle school.
Just sending on some of the information that I as a parent have learned of Kevin and where he is from. He is a tough coach and sometimes gets complaints, but doesn't back down. The parents appreciate the fact how much wrestling has taught them to be a good person ready to accept responsibilities after graduation.
