About Me	Graduated Nothern Arizona University with a degree in Forestry. 2 years - USFS Fire Technician; Fire Crew - Fought fire in western states. Smokejumper for 4 years - jumped all over western U.S. and Alaska. Graduated U.S.Marine Corps OCS as Platoon Honorman and served as an Infantry Officer for 5 years; Okinawa, Japan, WestPac. Graduated Pepperdine University w/ Masters in Human Resources Mgt. SCUBA diver-many 200 ft+ dives. 4 more years as USFS Smokejumper; completed 120 jumps and qualified as FAA Senior Parachute Rigger. 1982 Began law enforcement career w/Missoula County Sheriff's Dept. In USMCR, served during Op. Desert Shield/Storm/Op. Enduring Freedom/Noble Eagle/Operation Iraqi Freedom; Combat tour in Iraq as Director, Iraqi Police Service, Iraqi Security Forces, 1st MarDiv, Camp Plue Diamond, Ar Ramadi, Al Anbar Province, Iraq. Upon return, retired as a colonel after 30 1/2 years in the regular and reserve USMC.
