I worked with and for Pete on the Tucson Police Department. He was one hell of a cop and a great Chief of Police. He, as chief, would be out in the field following up on calls if he was close by and was not afraid to get involved in the investigation of an incident. He stood by his officers when it was the right thing to do, not worrying about any fall out. He was the best. RIP Chief Ronstadt.
