Known for sports in highschool - basketball and baseball. Firstly had colon cancer then recently had a rare form of bone cancer while in rehab therapy after having hip replacement surgery.
James (Jim or Bud) Fraser '58 said:
I was a classmate. We started at Arroyo (two years) and then on to CV. We were always the senior class. Steve was a fun guy and a very good basketball player. We have some fond memories that can’t be shared on this site. God bless!
