Marvin 'Gus' Albertson
Class of 1959
Gus Albertson pitched a no hit, no run baseball game for Cascade many years ago in the late 1950's. He still lives in the Willamette Valley and he is an integral part of Cascade High Schools alumni.
I was only about 10 years old when my big brother went all the way to the 9th inning, then with cheers and applaud he finally struck the last player out. I'll never forget that baseball game.
As usual I have no documentation of proof. After about 50 years since this happened, I doubt there is much to find.
