The Class of 1982 will be having its 30 year class reunion this month. Help us spread the word!!!! We will be having a pre-reunion get together on September 14th at Shannon Weatherman's house (2055 W county Rd 650 S, Clayton IN 46118) from 4:30 - 7:30 pm prior to CHS homecoming. We will be serving soups and chili. You are welcome to bring your own beer, but please drink responsibly. Also you may park in the CHS parking lot. On September 15th we will be at the Hazelwood Community Center (Fire Dept.) from 12 pm - 4 pm. A good old fashioned lunch will be provided (pork, mac 'n cheese, etc.). We are charging $10 per person (adult) to cover the costs. You can pay at the door or send me a check at 8106 Crystal Ct. Avon, IN 46123. We also welcome other classes and teachers. Please help me share the word! We are missing lots of class mates so please feel free to spread the word. Share my information with them. Adjust your message settings. ______________________ Hey all! We've started planning the 30 year reunion. We're doing 2 events, as usual. Just not the same kinds of events this year. We're tailgating at Shannon's house the evening of Homecoming - 4:30, Friday, September 14. (He's on the corner of Cascade Road and the road he lived on in HS, pretty much across the street from the HS.) We will be serving hamburgers, hot dogs, etc. If you would like a beer or two, please bring your own but please be responsible. After the Tailgating, you are welcome to go to the homecoming game. You can park in the CHS parking lot and walk to Shannon's. More details to come. We need to get this out to all classmates (even those not on facebook) and if you know of other classes that would like to join us forward this invite to them. On Saturday, September 15, we're having a lunchtime hog roast at the Hazelwood Community Center. Details of that part are still sketchy, but I'll sure keep you up to date. Please forward this much on to any classmates (or other Cascade folks who weren't in our class or didn't graduate - we all agreed we don't really care...as long as they were friends) for which you have email addresses. This will be an outdoor event if weather permits. There will be a bonfire and a nice barn that can be used if it rains. There is no cost for the event but do ask that everyone help by bringing a side dish or dessert to pass. This event is for classmates and spouses or guest only. The reunion is scheduled around the football homecoming game with a tentative date of Friday September 30. If anyone wants to bring their family there will be special seating and a shout out for our group during the game. Please contact me if you will be attending so we can get a head count for food. Soda will be provided. A flyer has been sent out but I have received some back due to change of address. If you have not received one, please contact me so I can update our information.
