About evin Glenn Adams (61), husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend, passed away on April 3, 2026, on Camano Island, Washington. Born on August 5, 1964, in Everett, Washington, Kevin lived a life filled with passion, adventure, and an infectious zest for life that touched everyone who knew him.

Kevin grew up in Everett and graduated from Cascade High School in 1982. His love for soccer began early and flourished during his time at Everett Community College, where he played varsity soccer before graduating in 1984. He continued his education at Western Washington University, earning his degree in 1986. Soccer remained a lifelong passion for Kevin; he was not only a dedicated fan of the Seattle Sounders but also a long-time season ticket holder and coach who inspired others through his love of the game.

Kevin's adventurous spirit extended beyond the soccer field. He was an avid skier and founded Pilchuck Action Ski School to share his enthusiasm for the slopes with others. Whether carving through fresh powder or teaching others to embrace the thrill of skiing, Kevin found joy in every moment spent on the mountain.

He also had a deep connection to water-whether it was crabbing in Puget Sound as captain of the annual Adams Family "Dangerous Catch," relaxing by Lake Chelan, or enjoying the beauty of the Washington coast. These places brought him peace and became cherished settings for countless family memories.

Kevin's sense of humor and playful nature were legendary among those who knew him. Fondly nicknamed "Play Dude," he had an uncanny ability to bring smiles to faces and laughter to hearts.

Above all else, Kevin cherished his family. He is survived by his wife of 34 years Jill Adams, his high school sweetheart; his children Cole and Samantha Adams; his mother Arlene Adams; and his sisters Kim Adams Beggs, Beth Schubkegel (Kevin), and Dawn Adams; nephews Kyler, Rylan, Billy, Zachary, Jacob, Colin; and nieces Rachel, Allyssa and Jacynth. He was predeceased by his father Glenn Adams but carried forward Glenn's legacy of kindness and humor.

Kevin's energy and love for life were truly contagious. His light may have dimmed here on Earth, but those who loved him know he will continue to shine brightly in their hearts. As they look to the mountains, the water, or the stars above-places where Kevin found solace-they will feel his presence guiding them forward.

There will be a Celebration of Life on June 27 at the Camano Island Country Club (1243 Beach Dr, Camano, WA). We'll gather at 1:00, with a time for sharing beginning at 2:00. Please wear your beach shoes and join us to remember Kevin in a place that he loved.

Rest easy now, Play Dude. Your family has it from here. May your memory bring comfort and joy to all who were fortunate enough to know you.
