Maggie was a very kind and thoughtful individual and a very special friend.
We often walked home together just strolling along and Maggie would comments and
surprisingly quirky observations about the serious issues of that time. She was the first person I knew personally who spoke about the ways individual could prevent damage to the planet. We decided that in a perfect world there should be grass not pavement, horses not cars, paper plates and cups instead of glass,
music instead of news and mandatory classes such as PE and math should be banned!
