Navy, 6 Years
Following Nuclear Field A School, Nuclear Power School, and Prototype training served 4 years aboard CVN65 USS Enterprise. Deployed twice to the Persian Gulf in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. Was in theatre at the time of the 9/11 attacks. Duties included operational and maintenance support of the world's largest floating nuclear platform aboard the largest and most noteworthy Naval aircraft carrier in modern history.

Parris Island for boot camp, Camp Geiger for infantry training school, MCRD San Diego for Sea School, Camp Pendleton for my permanent unit, Bravo-One Five we eat your dead), did deployments to Okinawa, Korea and Panama.got out in '89 and recalled from the IRR for desert Storm in Feb of 91 and stationed on New River Air Station until May of '91. Sea service ribbon with one star, humanitarian medal, cold war victory medal and a few others I'm sure I'm forgetting. Semper Fi.

After my discharge I worked at Children's hospital for several years. I then worked for Dr's Blume and Corsello out of Mercy Hospital. I have just retired 8-6-13, as the secretary at the Charleroi Area Middle School. Hello to all my fellow veterans !!!

I had the oppurtunity to visit over 15 countires, been on 6 Major Deployments overseas, and finsihed out my last 4 years in the Navy stationed in Sigonella Sicily. I recently retired in JUN 2004 and have been employed with Northrop Grumman Corp since AUG 2004. My current position is within the Information Systems Branch. Currently married with two boys both who have since graduated from Drexel and Temple Univ with degrees in Internation Business and Criminal Justice. My oldest son was married in OCT 2008.
