Served in the Regional Band @ Hamilton AFB, California for 5 years. Exited in 1962. We served the all western states with performances and parades, etc as required. Great duty, much fun, but tremendous travel and family stress. Thankful for the time!!

After NROTC at Nebraska, I spent two years on active duty as a line officer at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii (1956-58). I attended seminary and was re-commmissioned in the Chaplain Corps, U.S. Naval Reserve (1962). Centered in Philadelphia and New York, I served as a ready reservist until 1990, retiring with the rank of Captain.

Our Carlsbad High School military alumni are some of the most outstanding people we know and this page recognizes them and everything they have done! Not everyone gets to come home for the holidays and we want our Carlsbad High School Military to know that they are loved and appreciated.
