I would like to nominate Mala Spotted Eagle Pope, who was a member of the class of 1970. He has really done a lot towards increasing understanding between people of all races. He runs a self-sustaining, inter-tribal, inter-racial earth friendly community and healing center based upon traditional Native American values in Blachly Oregon, near Triangle Lake. It is called Nanish Shontie.
Mala also has traveled all over the U.S.and Holland spreading his message. He has done very well for himself and I think it's only right that he be recognized.
