She was born on February 27, 1956 in Cambridge, Ohio to Katherine (Chalfant) Sweeney and the late Charles Sweeney. Also preceding her in death was a sister Mary Jane Sweeney. She was a homemaker and a Tole Craft Painter and she attended Union Baptist Church in Zanesville, Ohio. Debra is survived by her mother Katherine Sweeney of Cambridge, her husband Joseph E. Burke Jr. of Cambridge, 2 brothers Roger Sweeney of Zanesville and James Sweeney of Newcomerstown.
