In July 2002 I signed up as a medic for a 4-year stint in the active army. Once I finished training I was stationed in Stuttgart for a couple years, traveled around Europe, and finished my contract at Fort Riley, Kansas. Before leaving I re-enlisted with the WVARNG. After being home for a year I wrapped up my current travels by voluteering for a deployment to Iraq and topped it off by visiting Tokyo during my leave in 2008. Upon returning home I decided to put my GI Bill to use by attending Marshall University for a degree in Intl. Affairs.
