About Me	Attended Louisiana Tech studied Architecture. Moved to Houston in 1974. Went to work at as an Architectural Designer with Fluor Daniel, Inc. Got married in 1976, had twin sons in 1979. Both my sons were born with Cystic Fibrosis. Became a Registered Architect and Registered Interior Designer in 1991. My first wife passed away in 1995 from Brain Cancer. I remarried in 1997. Retired in 1999 and moved to Crystal Beach and got into real estate development. My first twin passed away in 2004 when he was 25. My second twin passed away in 2007 both from Cystic Fibrosis. Went thru Hurricane Ike in 2008 when we had a 21' tidal surge. Lost over 4,000 houses on the Bolivar Peninsula. I only lost one rental property. I was lucky. Started Crystal Beach Community Church in 2013 as the founding President and Sound Engineer. We have grown in 8 years to be the largest church on the Bolivar Peninsula. We do contemporary Christian music with a Praise and Worship Team composed of 27 musicians and singers. We just finished adding a new Sanctuary and remodeling the rest of the Church. It has been a 2 year design project but construction is 95% complete. It was my last Architectural Project. So much for retiring in 1999. After 72 years I'm still going strong thanks to God. Obviously God has had his plans for me for a long time. No, I'm not a Pastor. Life has had some bad times and some good times. I'm finally feeling retired. Bought a larger motor home and going to go see a few places I have never been. Just have to finish with Easter Sonrise Service on the Beach and The Texas Crab Festival for the last time. I've been producing the Easter Sonrise Service for over 15 years and have been the Site Architect for over 10 years. Hope everyone is doing well. Life is what you make it......(read more)
