| About Me | Born in Butte Montana the second in a family of five kids, I attened Butte High, graduated in 1965, my father, Bill Hawke coached me to a successful track career. My events were the shot put and discus and I set Montana, national, and world records throughout my high school career. I took a track scholarship to the University of Wisconsin, where I was a Big 10 Champ in 1967. Sandy and I were married while I was in college and moved to Billings with our infant daughter jennifer in 1970.
