I never really had a close relationship with Helen but she was one of the prominent people in our class. When we had a class meeting at the Butte City Hall meeting room. Helen voiced her opinion that all the senior boys should bring some of the Senior girls who did not have dates. There were a lot of jeers with the comments like" they dates us when the other seniors took time out as Sophomores.... Smile...... her becuase she was a life long partner of one of the nicest guys in the class Russ Windom. It was a nice thought and as I remember we did make a special effort to make sure the girls came to the Senior Party date or not....... way before the current social norms. RIP Helen you are remembered
