Yes, there are a few of us still around! I am now living in Roseville, CA along with many other BHS alumni. I know they are here, but I only know a few of them. From the '47 class I see Flo Bower Kellner, June Shannon Coel, Joanne Smith Belden and Margaret Lloyd Islip for lunch and bridge. Clliff Donley, who lives in San Mateo, oversees a luncheon every four months on the third Wednesday at the Poplar Golf Course Restaurant in San Mateo. We get a pretty good turnout for that occasion. A few of the regulars who show up are Gordie Campbell, Noel Thompson, Ann Christiansen Dorst, Jean Lehman Ganzert, Pierre Bouquet, Hank Wespiser, Bill Lohman,Walt Vielbaum, Skeet Taigen, and many more. Our 65th Class Reunion was held in 2012 at Cliff & Pat Donley's San Mateo home. We had a good turnout even though our numbers are dwindling. Unless, of course, there are willing children and grandchildren to get us to a party (since a good number of us aren't able to travel far on their own) we won't have many people show up. The Class of '47 was a very special class. (We all say that!) We are one of the few graduating classses to have had a Reunion every five years from the time of graduation. However, the law of nature means the group is getting smaller every day and the tradition is coming to end. Nevertheless, it has been very successful up to now and well attended. I don't know if we can do it one more time, but we're planning on trying!
