I was nondesignated for my first year and a half, and was stationed in Pearl Harbor, HI. I worked Harbor Patrol, a passenger/vehicle ferry, and then as part of the Navy tours of the USS Arizona Memorial. Finally got a spot in Hospital Corps school and was stationed in Orlando, Florida. I primarily worked in Labor and Delivery and was later put in charge of an acute minor emergency clinic.
