Alan B. Leeman, 45, of Route 24, died Sunday, June 26, 1966, at Brentwood Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Yarmouth.
He was born Dec. 26, 1950, in Brunswick, the son of Walter and Jean Sinnett Leeman. He was a 1970 Graduate of Brunswick HIgh School.
For many years, he lobstered with his father.
He is survived by his mother, Jean Leeman of Bailey Island; a son, Kirk Leeman of San Francisco, Calif.; a daughter, Elizabeth Leeman of Topsham; three brothers, Stephen Leeman of Brunswick, Walyer Leeman III of Bailey Island, and Joseph Leeman of Topsham; his maternal grandmother, Ruth Spinnett of Bailey Island; An aunt; uncle; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Two brothers, Carlton Leeman and James Leeman, died previously.
The funeral will be private.

Charles W. 'Charlie' Hester, 51, of Robin Lane in Falmouth, died unexpectedly Thursday, May 29, 2003 at a Portland hospital.
He was born in Providence, RI, a son of Richard A. and Thelma T. (Merikoski) Hester.
Charlie was educated in Brunswick Schools and was a graduate of Brunswick High Class of 1970. He was also a graduate of the University of Maine at Fort Kent and Southern Maine Technical College.
He was employed as an eletronics technician at National Semi Conductor & Fairchilds for 20 years.
Charlie was a member of the Holy Martyrs Parish in Falmouth. He was a member of the Portland Rugby Club and was an avid skier and golfer.
Charlie was a devoted husband and father and was very proud of his children and followed and supported all of their athletic and school events in their younger years, he coached youth soccer, softball and baseball in Falmouth.
Charlie enjoyed life and loved spending time with his large extended family and friends.
He was predeceased by a sister, Ann H. Kearns in January of this year.
Surviving are his wife of 22 years, Maureen Foely-Hester of Falmouth; a son, Andrew C. Hester and daughter, Bridget F. Hester of Falmouth; a sister, Meri-Linn Dumenigo of Brunswick; two brothers, Joseph and James Hester of Brunswick, brother-in-law, Kevin Kerns of Taunton, Mass.; two aunts, Helu Moore and Ilma Tiakanen; mother-in-law, Gertrude Foley of Portland; sisters-in-law, Sharron McCqrthy and husband Tom, Colleen Foley and Husband Kent Redding, Cathy Foley, and Patty Kenney and husband, Barry; brothers-in-law, Marty, Joe, Kevin and Mark Foley; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visiting hours will be held 1-5 p.m. Sunday at Jones, Rich & Hutchins Funeral Home, 100 Woodford Street, where prayers will be recited 10 a.m., Monday. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m., Monday at Holy Martyrs Catholic Church, 266 Foreside Rd., Falmouth.

Gary passed away February 17, 2009 of IPF. Four months prior to their 40th wedding anniversary. He fought until the end. He was the loving husband of De Dee Dionne Furbish class of '66. He is very much missed & loved by his family and friends. What a wonderful man! One that will never be forgotten!

Julie Ann Randall, 45, of 4 Windward Walk, Died Monday,
March 3, 1997, as a result of a car accident on the River
Road in Brunswick.

Julie was born November 24, 1951, in Brunswick, the
daughter of Robert E. and Allison Billings Linneken. She was
a 1970 graduate of Brunswick High School and a 1974 graduate
of the Universtiy of Maine at Orono with a bachelor of
science degree in education.

On February 14, 1976, she married John Randall in
Waterville.

For 13 years, Julie taught fourth grade for SAD 75 in
Bowdoinham and Topsham, and for the last 10 years she was
employed at the U.S. Postal Service in Auburn and Lisbon
Falls.

Julie enjoyed crafts, knitting and crocheting, traveling,
and mountain biking. She loved gardening, camping,
hummingbirds, and cats. She was a member of the Sage Swingers
Square Dance Club in Brunswick and the Lets Dance Round Dance
Club in Portland.

Last year, 1996, Julie helped us as a member of the
organizing committee to form the Bowdoinham Community School
Reunion. She was very active in over-all organizing of this
group, and the contact person for her class of 1966 8th
graders.

Besides her husband of Brunswick, and her parents of
Bowdoinham, she is survived by a daughter, Meghan Randall of
Brunswick; a son, Nathan Randall of Brunswick; two sisters,
Patricia Linneken-Parker of Fayetteville, N.Y. and Carole
Linneken-Lazano of Brunswick; two brothers, Daniel Linneken
of Richmond, and Brian Linneken of Bowdoinham; and several
Aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 6, 1997 at
Brackett Funeral Home in Brunswick, and a spring burial will
be in the Bayview Cemetery in Bowdoinham.

Robyn A. McCausland, 55, of Brunswick died Sunday, July 8, 2007, at Maine Medical Center in Portland of a sudden
illness. She was born in Brunswick on November 11, 1951, the daughter of Wilbur and Estelle Purinton. She was a
1970 graduate of Brunswick High School and a 1974 graduate of the University of Southern Maine.

On June 27, 1975 she married Stephen McCausland.

She served a brief time as a teacher in the Brunswick school system and then operated her own nursery school
“Robyn’s Nest” for a decade. For the past 20 years she was a sales manager for manufactured housing in Brunswick,
first at Maplewood Park and in recent years for Linnhaven Park.

Robyn served ten years on the Brunswick School Board from 1988 to 1997, including two years as chairman. During
that time she advocated for the construction of a new high school and helped initiate community service as a
requirement for high school graduation. As chairman of the school board, she broke the ground for the
construction of the new high school, which opened in 1995. She also had served as a member of the local
vocational education board and was active for several years as a volunteer for the rape crisis center.

She was an active member of the St. Paul’s Episcopal Church serving on the vestry board and numerous committees
and oversaw part of the church’s Christmas Fair for nearly 20 years.

She was an advent hiker and had climbed the major mountains in Maine and New Hampshire. She was preparing a
climb in the White Mountains of New Hampshire on July 4th, when she was stricken.

Robyn is survived by her husband, Stephen McCausland, and their daughter, Jennifer McCausland who is scheduled
to give birth to Robyn’s only grandchild in August. Robyn is also survived by her mother, Estelle Purinton of
Topsham, her sister, Deborah Brough of Durham and her brother, Daniel Purinton of California.

A celebration of her life will take place at 3PM Friday, July 13th in the Crooker Theater at the Brunswick High
School on Maquoit Road followed by a reception in the Brunswick High School Cafeteria. Burial will be held
at a later date in New Meadows Cemetery on Purinton Road in Brunswick.
