1978 brookside graduate tom hannan received his 30 year coaching award from the ohio high school football coaches association at there annual clinic/banquet on february 8th 2013.this year will be hannan's 31th year coaching high school football with 23 of those years as a head football coach at three area high schools:mantua crestwood 1994-2009 where he his the winningest coach in school history with a 94-65 record,including the schools only two playoff appearences in 1999,2001. lorain catholic 1987-1993 and thompson ledgemont 1985-1986. hannan currently teaches at bolich middle school in the cuyahoga falls city school district as in-school suspension supervisor and was the assistant head football coach and offensive coordinator at burton berkshire high school. hannan lives in streetsboro,ohio with his wife of 30 years maureen and they have three sons matt 25, twins jon and pete age 19. the hannan family recently opened borobarbell gym in streetsboro on february 1st of this year.
