Joined in 1984. Originally with US Army Medical Corps, transferred to the US Army Finance Corps in 1985. Participated in Operation Just Cause Panama 1989, Desert Storm 1990, and the Global War on Terrorism 2001-2005. Retired 2005. Now working for the Department of Defense.

Lieutenant Colonel, Served in Central America in El Salvador, Guatelmala, in South America in Ecuador, in Bolivia as the mission Executive Officer , serve in Haiti, served as Headquarters, Headquarters Company Commander from 3 days before 911 and for the next 3 years with the 405th Combat Support Hospital setting up the 1st line tier emergency operating center outside of NYC in Hartford Ct, and oversee various deployments to Iraq, Currently still in the active US Army reserves.

Enlisted in 1955 after two years at UVA. Served as an Aviation Electronics Technician in early warning squadrons and as an instructor in the Aviation Officer's school until 1964 when I was commissioned as a limited duty Aircraft Mainentance Officer. Four Vietnam cruises in a Fighter squadron prior to selection for a regular Navy commission as one of the first 100 Aeronautical Maintenance Duty Officers in 1968, Retired as a Lieutenant Commander after service as a plank owner (part of the crew when a ship commissions) on the first two Nimitz class nuclear aircraft carriers, USS Nimitz and USS Eisenhower.

Presently serving as the first female Chief for the US Army Quartermaster General. Started in 1990, went to Officer Candidate School and was commissioned in 1993. I have been truly blessed. Still serving and loving it.
