After Basic Training and Tech School in Texas, I served as an electrician at nuclear missle sites in Okinawa and in electrical construction testing the engines of the Apollo spacecraft at Edwards AFB in California. (1966-1970)

Right after graduation (actually September) I joined the army figuring I'd just get it over with. Join with 2 other BHS members, Marty Javorsky (65) and Paul Stevenson (67). Long story short I spent 18 months in Viet Nam as a member of a combat engineering group. Finished up in Ft Benning Ga. Learned a lot from my experience, most good, but still trying to figure out a few other things.
