About	After moving to Oklahoma, Mark attended Union Public Schools before graduating from Broken Arrow High School with the Class of 1979. Although he graduated as a Tiger, he proudly said, "Once a Union Redskin, always a Union Redskin." He later attended the University of Oklahoma, where he earned his Bachelor's Degree in Health Science. Mark's heart for serving others led him to begin his career as a paramedic with EMSA, answering the call to help those in need. He later served as a Tulsa County Sheriff's Deputy before spending many years as an armed security officer with American Bank & Trust, faithfully providing for his family. His work also led him to the greatest blessing of his life, meeting Iris Sager. The two were married on October 27, 1989, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, beginning a beautiful marriage built on faith, friendship, and unconditional love. Together they raised two daughters, Mina and Miranda, who remained the pride of his life. Above all else, Mark loved the Lord. He and Iris faithfully worshipped at BattleCreek Church in South Tulsa, where he enjoyed serving on the Sound and Lighting Team. Whether behind the scenes making services possible or singing along to his favorite hymns, Mark found great joy in serving his church family. His faith wasn't something he simply professed, it was evident in the way he loved people, welcomed everyone, and lived each day with kindness and generosity. Mark was the kind of person who never met a stranger. His contagious laugh, quick wit, and larger-than-life personality made him the life of every gathering. He had a remarkable gift for making everyone feel seen, welcomed, and special. A competitor at heart, Mark loved anything that involved cheering, racing, or keeping score. He was a lifelong Oklahoma Sooners fan and supported Union football, serving for many years as Vice President of the Union Football Booster Club. Whether organizing volunteers or making sure everyone had a great meal before kickoff, he loved being part of the Union football family. He also cheered on the Tulsa Talons and Oklahoma Defenders. His passion for racing began behind the wheel of Modified Dirt Track Speedway cars and grew into a lifelong love of sprint car racing and NASCAR. Jeff Gordon and Kyle Larson were among his favorite drivers, and race weekends were often planned around the television schedule. Nothing brought Mark greater joy than spending time with his family. They shared unforgettable adventures through Civil War reenactments, camping, or as they affectionately called it, "glamping" at Lake Hudson, and countless days on the water. Mark taught his daughters how to fish, including one memorable outing that ended with the loss of a brand-new fishing pole, a story that became family legend. As the designated boat driver, he made sure everyone had fun occasionally pushing the speed limit just enough to keep everyone laughing. He also proudly served as the family doorman for their beloved dachshunds; Sam Oscar Meyer, Johnsonville Bratwurst, Mercedes Benz, and Millie, never turning away an eager four-legged friend. Mark was a true foodie. When asked what his favorite meal was, his family simply answered, "Whatever was on his plate." He loved discovering great restaurants, never passed up an opportunity for crab legs, and enjoyed sharing good food with the people he loved. Music was another lifelong passion. His playlist was as unique as he was, ranging from Ozzy Osbourne, Pink Floyd, Queen, ABBA, and KISS. He enjoyed horror movies, making up silly song lyrics, playing games on his phone, and watching professional wrestling. His family was part of the business made famous by the unforgettable television commercial reminding everyone that "If you didn't buy at Reeves you paid way, way, way too much!" It was a piece of Tulsa's history that always made Mark smile. Mark's life is beautifully reflected in the words of 2 Timothy 4:7: "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith." Those who knew Mark, witnessed those words lived out every day. His greatest accomplishments were not measured by career titles or trophies, but by the love he poured into his family, the friendships he cultivated, the laughter he shared, and the steadfast faith he carried throughout his life. Mark is survived by his devoted wife of 36 years, Iris Reeves; his daughters, Mina Cole and husband Trey, and Miranda Mendez and husband Jacob; and his precious granddaughter, Alexa Ann "Birdie" Cole, the apple of his eye and one of his greatest joys. He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew Jackson "Jack" Reeves and Marjorie Ann Reeves, and brother, Matthew Andrew Reeves. Though his family mourns his absence, they rejoice knowing Mark has heard the words, "Well done, good and faithful servant." His laughter, his love, his servant's heart, and his unwavering faith will continue to live on in the lives of all who were blessed to know him until they are reunited in God's eternal presence
Events	A memorial service to celebrate the life of Mark Andrew Reeves will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 13, 2026, at Memorial Heights Baptist Church in Claremore, Oklahoma.
