About	It is with great sadness that I inform you the passing of my Brother SGT. 1st. Class Isreal Rivera. He served BHS. as a Student Counsel Rep. He also ran track, played baseball & was on the wrestling teams 69 - 72. Shortly after graduating BHS. he enlisted in the US. Army in 73, rising in the ranks to Drill Sgt. for 20 years shaping the new recruits of the Army into qualified Solders. Upon his retirement in 93, he still felt the need to serve his Local schools and his community by being on the school board for several years. He was also a Football Coach. He still felt the need to shape young men to excellence. Israel was an excellent Husband and a exemplary father to his son & daughter whom continued in his footsteps by becoming a teacher in her local school and a successful business owner. IZZY as we all called him was a Great big brother, excelled in all our childhood sport activities while always watching out and protecting me from the neighborhood bullies. IZZY will be missed by the many lives he touched in his lifetime.
