| About Me | Married to Helen of Humboldt for 26 years now, & we are raising our 2 kids, Chuck & Janet. They are both students at Shasta College in Redding. I've been employed by Caltrans as a Transportation Engineer since August 2000, & I am hoping to actually retire in April 2018. I am a licensed Professional Engineer in California, Oregon, & Washington State. Life is pretty good, as we enjoy living in the great North State, as we do some boating out at Whiskeytown Lake, and we spend time at Lake Tahoe on occasion. I swim daily at the Redding Y and walk about 2 miles a day trying to stay in shape and avoid the "Big One" like Fred Sanford use to say. I was involved in my son's Boy Scout troop for 7 years as an Asst. Scoutmaster, now a Committee member of Troop #125. We like to travel, and usually take 4 or 5 trips a year up to Issaquah, WA to see my Mom, who is doing well @ 86. If in Redding, please give us a call, and drop by.
