Ellen was the eldest of five siblings. She was living in Spokane, WA at the time of her passing. Her husband Glenn Carpenter passed away just four months after Ellen. She is survived by her sister Jeanie (BHS Class of 1973) and her brother John (BHS Class of 1975).
