Active Duty Air Force. Served 31 years with duty in 62 countries, 27 total months engaging the enemy in Iraq and other Middle East locations. Twice awarded the Bronze Star Medal and twice awarded the Iraqi Campaign Medal. Served last career year deployed in Kuwait and Iraq for 13 months and returned home to Illinois July 2008 where I am now retired. I retired as a Command Chief Master Sergeant.

Enlist immediately after graduating from BHS in June 1953. Served 18 months in Korea. Attended Infantry Officer Candidate School, Ft. Benning, GA. Was in Vietnam during Tet 1968. Retired as Major in July 1973. Attended University of Tampa obtaining BS in Business Management. Employed with Department of Defense as Special Agent for 20 years. Retired in 1996.
