Mrs. Leonard died on February 25 at her home in Monument Beach.
Born in New Bedford to Doris (Nye) Swift and George Swift.
She graduated from Bourne High School in 1949.
Mrs. Leonard was employed as a waitress and worked at several restaurants in Bourne, including Sandy’s, Quintal’s and the Bourne Mill.
She also enjoyed bingo and Foxwoods.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Winifred Eldridge and Doris Jacobs
A funeral service was held at the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Highway, Route 28, Wareham
Burial was held at the Sagamore Cemetery in Sagamore, MA.
