Mary K. (Masterson) McDonough, 91, of Buzzards Bay died April 5 at home. She was a former Bourne Town Clerk.
She was born in Bourne to Thomas J. Masterson and Mary (Donnelly) Masterson.
After starting work in the town clerk's office in 1968, she was elected to the position of town clerk/treasurer in 1973. She retired as the town clerk/treasurer in 1987.
She was a member of the Bourne High School Alumni Association for many years and served numerous terms as vice president and as treasurer.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Thomas J. Masterson and James Masterson.
A graveside service was held at the Oakland Grove Cemetery in Bourne.
