About	In Memory of John Alfred Sanford October 26, 1928 - March 5, 2016 Obituary John 'Jack' Alfred Sanford, 87, passed away on March 5, 2016 at Tobey Hospital in Wareham. Born on October 26, 1928, Jack was a lifelong resident of Bourne, Massachusetts. He loved his family, the Red Sox, storytelling and playing baseball. In 2005, he was inducted into the Cape Cod Baseball League Hall of Fame. He is preceded in death by his mother Genevieve; his four brothers Edward, William, Robert and Phillip; his sister Margaret; and his son Scott. . The family welcomed loved ones and friends to celebrate his life at the Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home 40 MacArthur Blvd, Bourne, MA 02532 on Thursday, March 10, 2016. On Friday, March 11, 2016 there was a prayer service at the Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jack's memory can be made to: Cape Cod Baseball League P.O.
