Lifelong Buzzards Bay resident Rebecca Cotton died peacefully with her loving family by her side on Tuesday, March 1 at Children's Hospital in Boston. She was 26.
She was born Rebecca Ann Cotton on February 17, 1990, the daughter of James C. Cotton and Monna L. Jones. She grew up in Bourne and graduated from Bourne High School in 2008.
Becky enjoyed being on the cheerleading squad, swimming, and hanging out with her friends. She loved listening to music and watching movies. She aspired one day to be a Marine Biologist.
Calling hours with the family were Sunday, March 6, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, with a memorial service starting at 2:30 at Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home, 40 MacArthur Blvd., Bourne, MA 02532. Cremation will follow.
In lieu of flowers, Becky's family suggest memorials be made in her name to:
