About	Kathy (Palladino) Fernandes, 52, of West Wareham died Sunday, December 14, 2003, at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital surrounded by her family and friends after a courageous battle with leukemia. She was the wife of Peter D. Fernandes. Kathy was born in Cambridge, the daughter of the late Mary Harding and John Palladino. She grew up in Bourne. Kathy worked for the U.S. Postal Service in Brockton for 16 years. She was a member of the American Postal Workers Union, South Shore Area Local 3844. She and her husband were members of the Boat Owners of Onset Bay for many years. Kathy graduated from Bourne High School in 1970. She enjoyed traveling the tropics with her husband and friends. Kathy and her husband were avid boaters. Her time spent with her grandchildren was one of her greatest enjoyments. Kathy's fun-loving spirit will live in the hearts of all those who knew and loved her. She was the sister of the late John Palladino Jr. Kathy's funeral Mass was held at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Patrick's Church, 82 High St., Wareham. Burial was in the St. Patrick's Cemetery, Wareham.
