Emiliano Gavazza, 76, Television technician avid gardener Korean War Vet

SAGAMORE

Emiliano Gavazza died Tuesday at his home.

He was the husband of the late Kathleen Gavazza, who died in May.

Mr. Gavazza was born in Sagamore and was a 1948 graduate of Bourne High School.

He was an Air Force veteran who served as a radio operator in the Korean War where he held the rank of sergeant.

He was a graduate of Devry Institute of Technology in Chicago, where he studied electronics.

He served as a television technician for Ace TV in Buzzards Bay for many years.

He was an avid gardener and an excellent cook. He enjoyed photography, did artwork, and liked walking by the Cape Cod Canal.

Visitation was 4 to 7 p.m. at the Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home in Sandwich.

A funeral Mass was held at 10:30 a.m. in the St. Theresa's Church, Sagamore.

Burial is in the St. Peter's Cemetery, Pine Street, Sandwich.
