She was born in Quincy, MA on March 18, 1935. Marilyn attended Bourne High School and graduated from Bridgewater State Teachers College in 1957. In 1969 she began a 35 year career at FAU where she received her Doctorate in Education in 1974. A memorial service was held at Florida Atlantic University on June 8, 2013.
