About	Wayne L. Upton, 59 Marine Corps, Vet Health Club owner played baseball, golf. Wayne leaves family on the Cape. He died April 21, 2000, Tybee Island, GA Mr. Upton was a native of Cape Cod and graduated from Bourne High School. He was a Marine Corps veteran and a multi talented athlete who played semi professional baseball after his military career. He started in the health club business in Long Island, N.Y. with Jack Lalanne, and continued with his own health spa business in Florida where he owned and originated Universal Health Spas, headquartered in the Palm Beach area. Most recently he owned the Fit Life 2000 Health Club in Savannah, Ga. Mr. Upton was an avid golfer. He competed with America's professional players. Services for Mr. Upton were held in Georgia.
