About	James “Jim” O. Nelson Jr., 70, of Spencer, OH passed away unexpectedly on April 29, 2026. Born on January 24, 1956, he was the son of the late Audrey J. (nee Blankenship) and James O. Nelson Sr. Jim was a lifelong resident of Spencer and graduated from Black River High School. He thoroughly enjoyed working on agricultural equipment and had a passion for Case IH International tractors, spending most of his life restoring them. An avid outdoorsman, his hobbies included hunting and fishing. He will be remembered for his great sense of humor and making those around him smile. Above all else, Jim cherished family most. His proudest title was being a grandfather. Left to cherish his memory are his children, James “Jimmy” (Kellie) Nelson, and Joey (Krystal) Nelson; grandchildren, Andrew, Audrey and Alexis Nelson; siblings, Judy (Dewayne) Mullins, Mary (Roland) Halan, Dan (Lori) Nelson and numerous nieces and nephews.
