Navy, 5 Years
I joined the service in 1976 and served 5 years in Kingsville, Texas and Rota, Spain. I toured extensively in Europe and Asia, and the experience brought a love of traveling which has stayed with me throughout my life. (I still visit Europe one to two times a year). I earned my college degrees with the federal GI Bill and Texas Hazelwood act. As a result, the military service has made my life what it is today.
