Bone cancer in left hip took him down in about 6 months .
It seems like most of BHS was at the procession. Dusty Rhodes (a childhood friend and Southfield police officer) stopped.the traffic at 10 mile & Southfield, he saluted the Hurst with tears in his eyes, I'll never forget the respect.
