About Me	I'm more in love with John today than the day I married him (August 6, 2005). Celebrating our anniversary (2016) was so sweet ... returning to the Palm Springs (CA) area where we honeymooned 11 years prior. We took the kids and what a blast. The last two days we drove to Dana Point for an overnight stay on the beach, first time for the kids to be jumping the waves. Homeschooling Jacob ('06) and Rebekah ('09) has been a lot of fun from preschool till now. We target our field trip to their newfound interests and it doesn't feel like school. Actually, with much of their learning, they're having so much fun they don't "feel like" it's school. It's really nice and tests are just their way of showing off they really were paying attention In class. Their being eager little learners makes my job a joyful. We are an active family at our Assemblies of God Church with Bible Study in our home each week. John and I enjoy outdoor activities with the kids and an occasional getaway Up North to beat the heat. Since I was a junior in HS I wanted to someday be a stay-at-home mom and homeschool my kids. After graduating Central Bible College, single and adventurous, I taught preschool and elementary for years in various Christian Schools throughout Kentucky, the Chicagoland area, Vegas and Phoenix before becoming a nanny in the Phoenix area. One couple in particular I nannied for were Conservative Talk Radio celebrities, they took me on their vacations to Maui to nannying their preschool son, what a life. I loved being a nanny, that's what I was doing when I met John and continued until I was married, pregnant with Jacob and the family I worked for relocated to the East Coast. Perfect! God was giving me the desire of my heart and I never nannied again, combing nannying and teaching to raise our beautiful children.
