Norm was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer during the summer of 2008. He had been living in Springfield, Oregon for several years and had a successful landscaping business up until that time. The cancer had spread to the brain by November and Norm passed away peacefully at 8:15 a.m. on the morning of Saturday December the 6th. He is survived by his daughter Carrie and wife Barbara.
