Reuben Chavez
Class of 2003
Reuben Chavez was involved while at Bell Gardens High School. His hard work in and out of the classroom allowed him to excel in both football and in the classroom. Being a hard worker allowed him to be ranked in the top ten of honor roll for 4 years at Bell Gardens High School. Working hard on the field allowed him to play varsity football for 3 years, in which his senior year he was named captian and All-Leauge Tight End. After high school, he was given the chance to attend the prestigous Whittier College where he was also given the chance to play NCAA Football for the college team. While at Whittier College, he was able to excel again in and out of the classroom. Playing football for Whittier College, he was able to start his freshmen year and lead the Poets to a bright season. Over the past four years, Reuben was able to help the Poets and evenutally earn All-Conference his senior year. Graduating from Whittier College, he was accepcted to numerous gruaduate schools where he studied Political Sciene. He will eventually attain his PhD. in Political Science and essentally become a College Professor.
