Sanja Richard Mitchell was called to glory on Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2012. She was 46, born July 13, 1966. A graduate of Belaire High School Class of 84 and Delta Junior College, she was a former employee of Cablevision/Cox Cable and recently employed with West Staff Services. A devout Christian, she was a member of Living Faith Christian Center. Survived by her husband, Michael; daughter, Jayda; son, TreiMichael; mother, Hattie Richard; brother, Kevin Richard; sister, Tonja Myles (Darren); grandmother, Albertha Watson; aunts, Linda Watson Hall (Ayodeji), Atlanta, Doretha Lindsay (Alvin), Shreveport, and Judia W. Hill (Ed), Geiser; godmother/aunt, Ruba Thomas Anderson; uncles, Arthur Ray Thomas Sr. and Larry Thomas; and a host of cousins, nieces & nephews. Preceded in death by her father, Wilbert Sandy Richard; grandmother, Louise Matthews; grandfathers, Simon Matthews and William Watson Sr.; uncle, William Watson Jr.; and aunt, Loretha Watson Vaughn. Funeral Services held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 30, at Living Faith Christian Center, with Bishop Raymond Johnson, located at 6375 Winbourne Ave., Baton Rouge.
