Served 30 years in the Army. Retired as a Sergeant Major. Served three tours in Germany and one tour in Viet Nam. Was one of four SGM's in the Army that was a Company Commander. Company Commander are Commissined Officers nor NCO's. I was the Commander of the NCO Acadmey at Fort Lee when I retired. Highest award was a Bronze Star metal for Viet Nam. I retire in October 1990.
