Over 80% of companies or organizations will face a crisis and a many of these organizations or companies will likely fail after facing a crisis. These failures are costly in terms of dollars, missed opportunities, and in some case the loss of property and lives is unavoidable.
In S.E.T. Culture: What Every Organization Needs to Know Before Crises Occur, Dr. Brumfield assists top managers, middle managers, and all company stakeholders in examining the role of their top leadership culture and its impact on crisis management. Dr. Brumfield analyzes the current Penn State and recent Morgan Stanley crises, while providing context and implications for other businesses and organizations that are facing or potentially facing a crisis.

Dr. Brumfield has a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master of Arts in Counseling degree from Xavier University and an Executive Master of Business Administration degree from the University of New Orleans. He completed a Doctor of Management degree at the University of Maryland. Dr. Brumfield is a senior management consultant and management professor having worked with such organizations as MDRC, Columbia University’s National Center for Postsecondary Research, Bizlink and other organizations. He consults regularly with executives and managers from a variety of fields to help create synergistic solutions for their companies and organizations. He has experience working at a large organization that successful rebounded from the Hurricane Katrina disaster and has extensive experience providing management consulting to organizations facing crises. Dr. Brumfield has served as a college administrator at several colleges and a business executive at an international company.
His expertise helps executives, mid-level managers, and front-line workers identify organizational behaviors, threats, and opportunities that will help their companies and organizations successfully endure and rebound from a crisis.
