Spent 3 years attached to an FA-18 squadron. Deployed for multiple cruises aboard the aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt. Worked on the flight deck for a while, then took a safer job in the office. Honorably discharged as an E4.

Marcus Bowers
Class of 1981
Marine Corps, 20+ Years
24 years of miltary service; 16 on Active Duty and continuing to serve in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve. Commander, Pilot and Infantry Officer serving Iraq, Kosovo and numerous assigments in the Pacific and European theaters. Serves as an executive civilian with Department of Defense and maintains reserve status most recently representing U.S. Joint Forces in Romania and the George Marshal Center in Germany.
