Tim Magnuson, age 53, passed away Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at his home after a short battle with ALS. He was born November 27, 1963. Tim graduated from Barnum High School (MN) in 1982. He then attended The University of Minnesota, Duluth, and graduated in 1987. Tim was an esteemed member of the cross country team and graduated with a Bachelors Degree in communications. He was a
U.S. Navy Veteran serving 8 years, 4 on the sea and 4 in recruiting. He worked many jobs in his lifetime, collections work, OSU Usher, Blue Jackets Usher, then press elevator where he thrived. Tim is survived by his wife, Melissa; son, Tristan, daughters, Mariah (Ethan) and Macey Longstreth; granddaughter, Jordynn; parents, Donald and Shirley Magnuson; siblings, Robert (Peggy) Magnuson, Robin (Dwayne) Ahonen, Lisa (Dale) Halverson, Marc (Natalie) Magnuson and Brian (Lisa) Magnuson; In Laws, Frank and Ellie Adams, Maryann and Tom Carter, Mike (Claudia) Adams, Shawna (Mark) Gentile, Frank II (Kim) Adams, Clint (Sabrina) Adams, Shelly Maynard, Joshua (Jake) Adams; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and loved ones.
